The Hillsdale High Shadowing Program pairs 8th graders with a Hillsdale leadership student and together they visit classrooms, meet faculty, hear about our programs, and participate in some of Hillsdale's activities. The day will begin at 7:45 am and students will be dismissed after lunch at 12:30 pm. Students are welcome to bring a lunch or purchase one at Hillsdale. Hillsdale administrators will also be on hand to meet with any parents at a separate and brief meeting that morning to answer any questions.
These are the days we will be hosting Shadowing this year:
Monday, October 1
Friday, October 4
Monday, October 14
Friday, October 18
Parents may sign up by submitting their information into a Google Form that will be linked on our website starting on Monday, September 9th. Families will have all week to submit their information. Hillsdale will use a lottery system and assign families to a shadow date and inform families who receive a spot no later than September 20th. Since we anticipate more families requesting a shadow date than we are able to accommodate, we encourage everyone to attend our 8th Grade Information Night on Wednesday, October 30 starting at 6:30pm in the HHS auditorium. Information is also available on our website at our "Prospective Students and Families" page (https://www.smuhsd.org/Page/1518).
